Curved screens have become a mainstream in the high-end smartphone market. We have already seen have dozen of curved screen smartphones this year, and it’s promised the trend will be actual in 2017 as well. There is a thought curved screen handsets should cost too much. Probably those who have expressed this phrase are familiar only with the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. But the fact is there are several handsets from this category that won’t make you pay a fortune. I want to exclude the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 from this list, because only a few features are missing in this phone to be the God. As for the rest of curved screen handsets, we have already come in with a corresponding article providing who can compete with the top-notch models. One of those models is the Elephone S7 – The World’s Cheapest Dual Curved Smartphone under $150. It’s a great handset packed with a decent list of specs. Thus the low price tag doesn’t matter – we are dealing with an astonishing phone, which is great in terms of appearance as well as performance. Moreover, we have already managed to test it and the Elephone S7 scored 86.380 points at AnTuTu. But no matter how you slice it, the selling point of the Elephone S7 is its look. So we decided to come in with the Elephone S7 Design and Packaging Review in order to make you get acquainted with the attractive appearance of this handset.

Elephone S7 Unboxing
The first thing catching our eyes is the phone name of S7. Yeah, that’s the Elephone S7 review, but ‘S7’ sounds and looks better. Agree this is a good marketing idea. However, Elephone has decided to offer this phone in a simple box made of cardboard unlike the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that comes in a black box.
The bottom of the Elephone S7 box carries some standard info on the phone. It’s in English.

Though we are dealing with a unique smartphone, many think this is a Galaxy S7 Edge clone. I don’t like to think so, but cheap smartphones often don’t come with their own design.
Anyway, the packaging comes with an exclusive protective film. This can be very helpful, because there are not many protective films for this handset available for purchase.
There is also a regular SIM tray removal pin.
… a quick start guide written only in Eglish. I have a feeling this phone is designed for foreign market.
Plus, there is a special protective case.
Finally, the Elephone S& packaging includes an AC adapter as well as a USB cable. They are in white.
The adapter output is 5V2A.
The USB cable length is 80cm – not that long but it still useful.
Elephone S7 Design
The Elephone S7 comes with a big 5.5-inch display, but you won’t have any inconvenience when holding it, because the curved edges make it very comfortable in terms of ergonomics.
The home button is below the display and the fingerprint scanner is located under the home button like many new smartphones.
The proximity sensor, the speaker and the 5MP front camera are located on the upper side of it.
The phone comes with a 2.5D glass, and the stereoscopic feeling due to this process is outstanding.
The Elephone S7 comes with a protective sticker that carries information on what buttons and ports are the on the phone.
The back panel is reflective and gives a feeling of the old good Huawei Honor 8.
There are antenna bands on the top and bottom sides.
Elephone logo and technical certification are printed on the lower side of the back.
The back camera with a 13MP sensor and a flash light are located on the upper side near to the left corner. It’s popping out a bit.
Like the Bluboo Edge this handset shows various faces according to reflection angles.
The bottom side comes with two speakers, a micro USB port between them, and two rubber antenna bands made to improve the passage of the radio waves.
The top side carries other two antenna bands and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The SIM tray is located on the left side. You can install two nano-SIM cards or you can use one of the slots for microSD card.
The right side comes with a power button as well as volume rocker.
The Final Words
That’s all, folks! As you can assess from this gold Elephone S7 review this curved screen smartphone actually looks amazing, and it can make a competition to any handset from this niche. No complain on the design, and I guess when we’ll come with a complete Elephone S7 review, it will showcase a great performance as well.

The Elephone S7 is regularly priced at around $230 (3GB + 32GB), but you can use the coupons to get it for a lower price.
